About the Key Account Manager IVD Role

Mindray is seeking a Key Account Manager IVD to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position focuses on driving business growth and cultivating strong, long-term partnerships within the In Vitro Diagnostics sector. The role requires a dedicated professional with a proven track record in sales and account management within the medical industry.

Core Responsibilities

The Key Account Manager IVD will be responsible for achieving significant business growth through strategic engagement with key accounts. This involves building and maintaining stable, long-term relationships with a designated portfolio of customers, which is updated annually. A key aspect of the role includes establishing and nurturing strong connections with national reference hospitals and new product reference hospitals, ensuring consistent interaction with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Strategic Account and Market Development

Collaboration with the headquarters sales team is essential for overseeing exclusive distributors, identifying new partnership opportunities in underdeveloped regions, and guiding these partners towards successful market entry. The role also involves conducting regular market analysis, reporting on major customer collaborations, competitor activities, and industry trends. Proactive identification and development of new market segments are crucial for expanding market share.

Marketing Support and Market Insights

Support for regional marketing initiatives, including product roadshows and promotional activities, is a key function to enhance brand presence and customer engagement. The role requires delivering regular market analysis reports to inform strategic decisions and drive business development efforts.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience specifically within the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) medical industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with strong proficiency in English for presentations and negotiations. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities, coupled with a proactive and adaptable approach to work.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple priorities effectively, and deliver results in dynamic environments.
  • Willingness to travel across assigned cities and countries, including short-term international business trips.

Work Environment and Travel

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Province. The role requires a commitment to travel within the assigned territories, which may include domestic and international business trips. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that demands adaptability and strong performance under pressure.
