GE Vernova is seeking a Logistics Project Manager to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to overseeing project operations and providing comprehensive program support within a dynamic environment.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Logistics Project Manager is responsible for managing project operations and delivering program support, which includes standardization, quality management, document control, method creation and maintenance, process improvement initiatives, and developing tools for the project management function. This role directly influences the team's capacity to meet service, quality, and timeliness objectives. Operating with moderate autonomy, the position requires a high degree of operational judgment to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory functions, offering direct or indirect leadership for overall project operations, including leading activities where resources are centrally distributed for customer project execution and monitoring.
• Apply functional expertise to influence strategy development for the area of responsibility, encompassing resource control and policy formulation.
• Evaluate internal and external business challenges, recommending best practices to improve products, processes, or services, and stay informed about relevant industry trends.
• Utilize a high degree of judgment to make decisions and resolve complex tasks or problems across operations, product management, manufacturing, technology, or design.
• Assess the quality of information provided by stakeholders and ask pertinent questions to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Propose new solutions to problems that extend beyond established parameters and develop and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Make informed decisions by leveraging multiple internal and select external sources outside the immediate function.
• Lead functional teams or projects characterized by minimal resource requirements, manageable risk, and/or moderate complexity.
• Communicate difficult concepts effectively and influence the perspectives of others on specific topics, guiding them towards different points of view.

Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive experience in a relevant field, typically ranging from 5 to 10 years.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or an equivalent level of knowledge and practical experience.
