Join GE Vernova as a Maintenance Supervisor – Electrical & Automation!
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with strong hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems. This pivotal role focuses on overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and leading a skilled team of technicians to support continuous plant operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily maintenance operations and delegate tasks to technicians.
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Work with PLC-based systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, Schneider) for troubleshooting, program modification, and upgrades.
  • Maintain and operate industrial automation systems, including cranes, vacuum and coating furnaces, FANUC robots, CNC milling machines, and plasma coating systems.
  • Manage maintenance records through SAP and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Ensure adherence to safety practices including LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) and risk assessments.
  • Develop and train technicians in safe maintenance procedures and technical skills.
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Liaise with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimize equipment reliability.
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs and report performance to management.

Required Qualifications:
  • Diploma or ITI in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation.
  • Minimum 15+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments (*, cranes, CNCs, coating systems).
  • Hands-on knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMI, servo systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Familiar with SAP and CMMS systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, automation circuits, and mechanical interfaces.

Desired Characteristics:
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills capable of influencing and driving regional counterparts.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior managerial role within portable housing, pre-fabrication, welding, and painting environments.
  • Strong exposure to pre-engineered buildings (PEB), prefabricated homes, and portable units.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of steel fabrication machinery, processes, and production workflows.
  • Hands-on knowledge of international fabrication standards (ASTM, ASME, ANSI, API).
  • Familiarity with FrameCad software and FrameMaster machines is highly desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of TQM, Six Sigma, FMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing tools.
  • Proven experience in process optimization and performance improvement programs.
