Role Overview

Tamara is seeking a New Merchant Acquisition Specialist to join the In-store Operations team in Dammam. This full-time role involves on-the-ground engagement, visiting new and existing merchants to expand the company's partnerships. It is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are motivated to learn and develop within a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and approach potential merchants at their physical store locations to introduce Tamara's services and partnership benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, understanding their needs to position Tamara's offerings as solutions.
  • Conduct in-person product or service demonstrations and address merchant inquiries to secure new partnerships.
  • Gather and report market insights, competitor activities, and merchant feedback to inform company strategy and product development, including in-store material visibility.
  • Guide interested merchants through the application and onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition and establish long-term partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of internship or co-op training experience in sales or business development, with a maximum of 2 years of professional experience.
  • A valid KSA driver's license is required.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with merchants and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM software is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) sector.
  • Adaptable and resilient, capable of thriving in a high-growth, fast-paced industry.
  • A collaborative team player who takes initiative and maintains a positive attitude.
