Project Manager

About the Role

Beeah Planners, Architects and Engineers is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the supervisory consulting team in Dammam. This full-time role is crucial for the implementation of a security systems development project in the Eastern region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical works on-site, coordinating activities with other project disciplines, and ensuring the successful follow-up of implementation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision for all mechanical works and activities on site.
• Review mechanical drawings, IFC drawings, and verify their compliance with project specifications and requirements.
• Review and approve mechanical materials, equipment, suppliers, and associated technical documents.
• Examine Method Statements, ITPs, and Installation Procedures for mechanical works.
• Monitor the implementation of mechanical works to ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect mechanical materials and equipment upon arrival at the site, confirming compliance with specifications.
• Review Requests for Information (RFI) and technical inquiries related to mechanical works.
• Address discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site conditions, coordinating the preparation of Redline drawings as needed.
• Oversee the quality of implementation and mechanical installation works.
• Coordinate effectively with the Electrical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Security Systems team, and other project disciplines.
• Participate in and supervise testing, commissioning, and handover activities for mechanical systems.
• Review As-Built drawings and O&M Manuals.
• Follow up on observations and Punch List items, ensuring their closure.
• Participate in final handover works and project closure.
• Prepare weekly and monthly technical reports pertaining to mechanical works.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical project management or a related supervisory role.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising mechanical works on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in reviewing and approving mechanical materials, equipment, and procedures.

Work Environment

This role is based in Dammam, Eastern region, and involves working as part of a supervisory consulting team on a security systems development project. It is a full-time position requiring on-site presence and coordination with various engineering disciplines.
