Regional Process Engineering Manager

About the Role

Henkel is seeking a Regional Process Engineering Manager to join its team in Dammam. This full-time role involves driving process optimization and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations within the IMEA region and globally. The position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Lead engineering projects, including process upgrades, capital investments, and operational excellence programs.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
• Collaborate with site, regional, and global teams to standardize best practices and implement innovative solutions.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and engineering standards across all activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, ideally across multiple sites and international environments.
• Proven expertise in process engineering, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of process safety practices, including HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA, SIL, and PSSR.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience coaching and developing technical teams, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
• Knowledge of hotmelt and water-based adhesives is an advantage.
• Fluent in English.

Travel Requirements

The role requires willingness to travel up to 50% across the IMEA region and occasionally globally.
