About the Role

Alkhorayef Petroleum Company is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Junior Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on providing essential engineering support for the Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) product line. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to product quality, cost efficiency, and new product development within a dynamic industry.

Role Overview

The Sustaining Engineering Junior Engineer will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and performance of the ESP product line. This involves supporting various engineering processes, from documentation and project file management to direct involvement in manufacturing, assembly, and testing phases. The role also includes active participation in initiatives aimed at product improvement and cost reduction, as well as supporting the introduction of new products.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a current working knowledge of all applicable Codes and Standards for the Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) product line.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of ESP project files for sales orders and establish customer specification files.
• Provide engineering support and expertise for ESP projects throughout the manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.
• Examine methods to reduce product cost while simultaneously improving product quality.
• Participate in assuring that procedures and work instructions are correct, efficient, and applicable.
• Assist in maintaining the correctness of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and amend them when necessary.
• Ensure that all work instructions are followed, continuously improved, and contribute to effective product cost reduction through process enhancements.
• Follow the R&D New Product Introduction process, taking the lead on prototype processes and testing.
• Liaise with R&D and Manufacturing teams to complete the prototype completion phase, trial testing, and commercialization of new products.
• Update and amend all necessary Engineering documentation for future reference and distribution to all regions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 0-1 years of professional experience.
• Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role involves working within a collaborative engineering team, contributing to critical operations that support the company's product lines in the petroleum sector.
