This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the safety and environmental standards within the company's operations.

Role Summary and Responsibilities

The Officer, Taldeen Safety will support Safety, Health, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives, particularly within a plant or platform setting, potentially covering a single shift. A key aspect of this role is ensuring the continuous functionality of the plant's safety, security, and fire protection resources, operating within established procedures and guidelines. The position requires diligent adherence to standard instructions and protocols.

• Manage and follow up on final site investigation reports, and maintain the phrase library and MSDS.
• Maintain essential HSE documentation, including procedures, manuals, guidance documents, and records.
• Assist in the facilitation of HSE training programs, including conducting lectures and assessments.
• Participate in risk assessments and job reviews to identify and mitigate HSE hazards under supervision.
• Generate required reports, data, graphs, and records using the computer system, such as daily and monthly reports.
• Coordinate HSE inspections and follow up with departments to ensure recommendations are implemented.
• Ensure HSE equipment is inspected, maintained, and calibrated according to manufacturer specifications.
• Undertake compliance monitoring and measurements of key HSE parameters.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering field related to safety and environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

• Analysis and Problem Solving

• Operational Safety practices
• Emergency Response procedures
• Fluency in the English language, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
