About the Procurement Specialist Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking a qualified Procurement Specialist to join our team and support our Roads & Infrastructure Projects. This full-time position is based in the Hail Region of Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Procurement Specialist will manage the end-to-end procurement process for project needs. This involves ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services while adhering to project specifications and schedules. The role requires close collaboration with various internal departments to meet project demands.

  • Manage the full procurement cycle, including Request for Quotations (RFQs), bid evaluations, supplier selection, and purchase order issuance.
  • Source materials, equipment, and subcontractors in accordance with project requirements and schedules.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and vendors.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Planning, and Project Management teams to ensure timely procurement of project requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
  • Follow up on material deliveries, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier payments.
  • Maintain procurement records and prepare procurement reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the necessary educational background and professional experience to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this role. A strong understanding of procurement practices within the construction industry is essential.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically within construction, roads, and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience in supplier management, sourcing, and contract negotiation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
