Job Description
About the Role
Wild&Org is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join its team in Makkah, specifically supporting operations in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position is crucial for the daily operations of our Grab&Go café, which focuses on providing natural, delicious, ready-made food for health-conscious consumers.
Role Overview
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the procurement process to ensure the consistent availability of high-quality supplies. This role requires a proactive approach to sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management, contributing directly to the operational efficiency and quality standards of Wild&Org.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal quality, pricing, and delivery terms for all procured items.
- Manage the procurement of food, beverages, packaging, and operational supplies.
- Create and process purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with kitchen and café operations to maintain appropriate stock.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new suppliers.
- Compare quotations and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising product quality.
- Verify that purchased products meet Wild&Org's quality standards and food safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and all relevant purchase documentation.
- Coordinate with the Finance department regarding invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Monitor market trends to identify new products and suppliers that can add value to the business.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with inventory management and procurement systems is required.
- Experience using Foodics is considered a strong advantage.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is essential.
