About the Role

Role Purpose and Scope

The Unit Manager will be instrumental in maximizing farm production and profitability within their designated area of responsibility. This involves meticulous planning and organization of all farm activities to ensure the most efficient utilization of all available resources. The role focuses on operational excellence within the poultry division.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximize the production and profitability of the farm unit through effective planning and organization of all farm activities.
• Ensure the most efficient use of all resources available to the unit.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Agriculture or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the management of large dairy herds.
• 2 years of experience in Quality System management, preferably gained within a multinational company.
• A valid Driving License.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Man Management and Influencing Skills.
• Strong Communication abilities.
• Expertise in Livestock Management.
• Experience with Quality Systems.
• Computer Literacy.
