About ITL World™ and the Role

ITL World™ is seeking a Full-time Account Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are ready to contribute to the financial operations of our branch.

Role Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the branch. This includes ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and adherence to regulatory compliance. The role also involves implementing robust financial controls to support business objectives, maintain financial integrity, optimize working capital, and ensure compliance with both statutory and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all statutory tax obligations, including VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), Zakat, and other government levies, ensuring timely filing of returns and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaise with tax authorities, external auditors, and regulatory agencies, and monitor changes in tax legislation to implement necessary compliance measures.
  • Manage branch cash flow, receivables, and operating expenses, including preparing periodic cash flow forecasts in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Maintain effective banking relationships, coordinate all banking activities, and ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
  • Monitor customer credit exposure, implement measures to mitigate credit risk, improve cash collections, and minimize overdue receivables and bad debt exposure.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor payments in accordance with agreed terms, maintain strong supplier relationships, and perform periodic reconciliations of supplier and intercompany accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities, managing accruals, prepayments, depreciation, bank reconciliations, interest accounting, and other journal entries.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Trial Balance and General Ledger, coordinating with external auditors to ensure financial statements comply with applicable accounting standards.
  • Identify financial control weaknesses, implement corrective measures, and strengthen internal controls to prevent fraud, revenue leakage, and financial misstatements.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency within financial processes.

Experience and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field. A foundational understanding of financial operations, regulatory compliance, and internal control principles is essential to effectively manage the responsibilities outlined.

This is a Full-time position based at our branch in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, operating within a professional and structured financial team environment.
