We are a leading casual dining franchise company in Saudi Arabia and the largest franchisee of a major * brand in the Middle East. We continue to expand aggressively across all regions of the Kingdom, and we are looking for a dedicated Assistant Accountant to support our finance function in Jeddah. This full-time, on-site position involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks and preparing financial documents.

This full-time, on-site position involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks and preparing financial documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Record and post day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Prepare and process bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Support internal and external audit requirements with accurate documentation.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as required.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
- Monitor expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for financial matters.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience in AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (MS Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines while working independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is required.
