About the Role

Nestlé Saudi Arabia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Medical Representation to join our team in Jeddah or Medina. This full-time role involves the ethical detailing of Nestlé Infant Nutrition products within an assigned territory. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for accurately communicating information about these products, including their features, benefits, and appropriate use, to medical and paramedical contacts.

Role Context and Compliance

The core purpose of this position is to ensure that all activities comply strictly with established guidelines. These include those set by NME Nutrition, the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes, Nestlé Instructions, and relevant local country codes. A key aspect of the role is promoting Nestlé’s belief that breastfeeding is the optimal feeding choice for infants, especially when mothers are unable or choose not to breastfeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote Nestlé’s stance that breastfeeding is the best and most recommended feeding alternative for infants.
• Provide accurate and reliable information on infant nutrition and feeding practices to medical and paramedical contacts, focusing on areas relevant to their professional practice.
• Participate in the organization and execution of scientific meetings for medical and paramedical professionals, covering product knowledge, nutrition, or related topics. This includes managing sponsorship meetings and guest lecturer invitations.
• Monitor and report competitor activities, including new products and communication strategies, to the Medical Field Manager.
• Maintain comprehensive records and registers of all correspondence and actions undertaken in daily activities.
• Identify and maintain relevant information on all contacts within the assigned territory through a master list, ensuring proper classification based on interest and importance, and regular call card completion.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, or Biology is required.
• Prior experience as a Medical Delegate is desirable for this position.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in either Jeddah or Medina, Saudi Arabia. The role requires regular engagement with medical and paramedical professionals within the assigned territory.
