About the Role

SITA is seeking an Associate Project Manager for a full-time position in Makkah and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves driving projects focused on enhancing travel safety and ease for customers, while also promoting sustainability and cultural diversity. The position operates within a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile global environment. Candidates should possess a results-oriented approach, the ability to motivate team members, and an appreciation for diverse perspectives, managing projects across various locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects throughout their life cycle, from inception to closure, handling changes, mitigating risks, and delivering results to stakeholders and customers.
• Track project activities against planned schedules, taking corrective action for deviations, and communicating regularly with team members, management, stakeholders, and customers.
• Ensure excellent customer service by proactively working with customers to meet project goals and exceed expectations.
• Handle project administration, including developing communication strategies, designing resource and project plans, providing status reports, tracking change requests, managing risks and issues, and submitting Steering Committee reports and lessons learned.
• Incorporate sustainability into project planning by considering long-term impacts and promoting sustainable behaviors among project teams through goal setting and metrics.
• Collaborate and manage all customer-facing projects using the SITA Project Management Tool, ensuring consistent and accurate project information, documents, and reports in compliance with established governance.
• Drive project profitability and work with the Project Financial Controller to manage the project P&L in accordance with the Business Case.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in project management.
• Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, scheduling, quality assurance, and people relations.
• Commitment to creating sustainable value for customers and the environment.
• Ability to write clearly and accurately for project documentation.
