About Sephora and the Role

Sephora, a global leader in prestige beauty retail and part of the LVMH Group, operates in 35 countries with a mission to champion a world of inspiration and inclusion. The company is seeking a Care Education Expert to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on enhancing beauty education within the KSA West region.

Role Purpose and Regional Focus

The Care Education Expert is based at Sephora University in Jeddah and is primarily responsible for supporting Skincare and Haircare learning and development for store teams in the KSA West region. This role involves implementing regional training initiatives, delivering training, and conducting in-store coaching and assessment, which constitutes approximately 70% of the time. The expert reports to the KSA Care Trainer and oversees all care education initiatives within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit Sephora stores weekly to provide coaching, assessment, and feedback on Skincare & Haircare knowledge, selling techniques, and product launches.
  • Manage the training calendar and budget for Skincare & Haircare education in the KSA West region, with support from the KSA Care Trainer.
  • Deliver Sephora University Skincare & Haircare training modules, both in-class and digitally, within the KSA West region.
  • Support the development of the Skincare Community by strengthening Skincare Experts in the KSA West region.
  • Increase Skincare & Haircare expertise through teaching conversation skills, category knowledge, trends, device usage, selling techniques, and product knowledge.
  • Track the development and learning progress of the KSA West region store team and support engagement with the Sephora Learning App.
  • Support the organization, logistics, and content delivery for Skincare & Haircare Education events and multi-brand training.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to Skincare & Haircare brand trainings, including digital trainings, attendee lists, and tester requests.
  • Collaborate with Retail & Store Management, OGCC SU team, HR, and the Skincare and Haircare Offer team to align on priorities and support learning initiatives.
  • Participate in marketing and PR events as a Sephora Ambassador.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in beauty retail and/or retail education.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Skincare and Haircare.
  • Proven track record of coaching and developing individuals.

Work Environment and Travel

This role is based in Jeddah and requires frequent travel within the KSA West region. Occasional travel to the Central and/or East regions of KSA may be necessary, along with potential yearly travel within other Middle Eastern countries.
