About the Role

Almarai, a leading food and beverage company and the world's largest vertically integrated dairy producer, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager. This full-time position is based in Rabigh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role is integral to driving business performance through adherence to the Quality Management System and achieving business and quality objectives by leading divisional quality functions.

Role Overview

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and leading the quality department to meet organizational goals. This involves overseeing quality processes, personnel, and resources to maintain product integrity and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain site-specific quality standards to ensure employee awareness and contribution to quality objectives.
• Foster a health and safety culture within the Quality department to enhance awareness and minimize accidents.
• Manage quality investigation systems to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions, reducing non-conformances, customer complaints, wastage, and product dumps.
• Oversee all laboratory functions to ensure reliable results, product integrity, and compliance with poultry product legislation, operating within staff and budgetary limits.
• Develop and train staff to optimize departmental performance and flexibility.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or an equivalent qualification.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in the Chilled Food Industry.
• HACCP Certified.
• Proficiency with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, AIBI, and FSSC 22000.
