The Role of Continuous Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role is integral to building and running new services for customers, with a focus on store operations and redefining fast delivery. The specialist will contribute to achieving operational excellence and implementing innovations within the Amazon ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within day-to-day operations.
• Manage end-to-end operations for a combination of small sites on a daily basis.
• Supervise Last Mile operations to ensure efficient delivery processes.
• Meet customer-facing metrics while adhering to cost targets and maintaining team safety and morale.
• Continuously improve the delivery process and achieve sustained levels of delivery performance improvement.
• Conduct daily 4M and 5S audits for delivery stations.
• Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager when required.

Operational Excellence and Policy Implementation

The specialist is responsible for ensuring that Amazon policies, including attendance tracking, are implemented and administered consistently and fairly. This involves monitoring and reporting on associates’ performance across productivity, quality, and safety to meet or exceed Amazon's operational expectations. A key aspect of this role is to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall operational efficiency and adherence to standards.

Team Leadership and Development

This role involves leading learning and development initiatives across Amazon Now KSA Darkstores. The specialist will be responsible for motivating, coaching, and providing feedback on associates' performance. Key duties include driving performance management for team members and preparing and implementing comprehensive training and development plans for riders, fostering a culture of continuous growth and high performance.
