About the Role

Amazon Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) operations is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist SA Amazon Now ACES to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is part of a newly formed organization focused on designing and launching new business models across AMET, specifically within Ultra Fast Grocery operations. The successful candidate will contribute to redefining fast delivery services and running store operations, aligning with Amazon's mission to be the primary online destination for customers to find, discover, and purchase anything.

Operational Leadership

This position involves leading and managing daily operations across a combination of small sites, ensuring efficiency and adherence to Amazon standards. Key operational responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end operations for multiple small sites on a daily basis.
• Supervising Last Mile operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Meeting customer-facing metrics while maintaining cost targets.
• Upholding the safety and morale of the team.
• Standing in for the Area Manager as required.

Team Management and Development

The specialist will be responsible for the development and performance of team members, ensuring a productive and compliant work environment. This includes:

• Leading Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives across Amazon Now KSA Darkstores.
• Driving performance management for team members.
• Preparing and implementing training and development plans for riders.
• Ensuring Amazon policies, including attendance tracking, are implemented and administered fairly and consistently.
• Motivating, coaching, reporting on, and providing feedback on associates’ performance, covering productivity, quality, and safety.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives

A core aspect of this role is to drive continuous improvement within day-to-day operations and delivery processes. Responsibilities include:

• Driving continuous improvement across daily operations.
• Continuously enhancing the delivery process to achieve sustained performance improvement.
• Conducting daily 4M and 5S audits for the delivery station.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience completing complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance.
• Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations requiring a quick turnaround.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of city topography and road networks.
