About the Creative Copywriter Role

Astek is recruiting a Creative Copywriter for one of its clients in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves crafting impactful, insight-driven copy to bring the client's brand to life. The role is crucial for differentiating the business in the market and supporting marketing communication objectives across all touchpoints, while adhering to brand guidelines and project requirements.

Role Purpose

The Creative Copywriter will be responsible for translating creative briefs into compelling, on-brand content. This includes developing concepts, headlines, taglines, scripts, and both long and short-form copy. The role requires close collaboration with various internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, brand-aligned content that supports annual brand and campaign plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate creative briefs into compelling, on-brand content, including concepts, headlines, taglines, scripts, and long/short-form copy.
  • Support annual brand and campaign plans by delivering copy requirements for key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Product teams, and external agencies to ensure timely, high-quality content.
  • Review agency-produced copy and provide clear feedback to ensure brand alignment.
  • Build and maintain a centralized repository of brand copy assets, including headlines, taglines, campaign copy, tone references, and scripts, with version control and easy access.
  • Ensure all written content reflects the brand’s personality, values, and positioning across internal and external communications.
  • Adapt messaging for different audiences, channels, and business objectives (digital, print, offline).
  • Provide weekly status updates on copy deliverables, track timelines/dependencies, and support workload planning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing communications.
  • Proven ability to write clear, persuasive, and engaging content across multiple formats.
  • Experience writing for web, social media, email, apps, and scripts; video/multimedia writing is a plus.
  • Experience adapting content for both digital and print environments.
  • Creative or branding agency experience is an advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of marketing concepts, campaign execution, and brand communications.
  • Ability to plan, manage, and deliver copy efficiently within established timelines.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Work Environment and Compensation

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be discussed directly with qualified candidates during the interview process.
