Electrical and Instrumentation Manager

About the Role

NSH Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Manager to oversee and manage all E&I activities for oil and gas projects within Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring over 10 years of relevant experience. The role involves planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring E&I engineering, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all Electrical and Instrumentation activities across oil and gas projects.
• Plan and coordinate E&I engineering, construction, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning works.
• Review and approve electrical and instrumentation drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and inspection and test plans.
• Oversee installation of electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, cable trays, cabling, earthing, and lighting systems.
• Supervise instrumentation installation, including transmitters, control valves, field instruments, junction boxes, instrument tubing, and control systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, material availability, productivity, and budget requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable IEC/IEEE standards, Saudi regulations, and client requirements, including Aramco standards where applicable.
• Resolve technical issues, coordinate inspections, and ensure timely closure of punch lists and non-conformities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors regarding technical and project-related matters.
• Ensure implementation of quality control procedures and HSE requirements throughout project execution.
• Prepare progress reports, forecasts, schedules, and other project documentation for management review.
• Lead and mentor E&I engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractor teams.
• Ensure proper handover documentation, as-built drawings, test records, and commissioning dossiers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical and Instrumentation roles.
• Proven managerial experience in oil and gas EPC projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical background in E&I.
