About the Enterprise Architect Role

Socium - Teams Done Differently is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for an initial 4-month contract. This role requires working onsite in either Jeddah or Riyadh, within the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia. The position is critical for defining the technology and infrastructure architecture for a foreign bank branch setup in KSA.

Core Architectural Responsibilities

The Enterprise Architect will lead the strategic definition and governance of technology architecture. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the end-to-end definition of target technology and infrastructure architecture, specifically aligned with a KSA foreign bank branch setup.
• Defining comprehensive architecture principles across applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, and security domains.
• Governing architecture decisions and ensuring consistency across all technology domains.
• Reviewing vendor solution designs and actively driving the resolution of identified architecture gaps.

Implementation Planning and Technical Support

This role also involves developing implementation strategies and providing essential technical support for banking operations. Specific duties include:

• Developing an implementation plan that aligns with the business product launch roadmap and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Minimum Viable Product (MVP) 1.
• Preparing non-functional requirements and technical Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Request for Proposals (RFPs) as required.
• Supporting the technical review process for RFP responses.
• Aligning technology design with business scope, product roadmap, and regulatory expectations.
• Assisting the bank with the identification, design, and implementation of critical systems such as SJN, SARIE, Tanfeeth gateway, and SWIFT.
• Providing any other technical support necessary for the bank's operational setup.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Enterprise Architect position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, particularly within the financial sector or with a strong understanding of banking infrastructure and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.

Work Arrangement and Location

This is a contract position requiring full-time onsite presence in Jeddah or Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Socium welcomes applications from candidates based outside Saudi Arabia, as visa sponsorship is provided. However, please note that relocation assistance is not available for this role.
