About the Role

Pfizer is seeking a Health Representative to join its team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for maximizing Pfizer brand growth through various sales and promotional activities. The Health Representative acts as a key business enabler by owning a territory within a specific geography, focusing on achieving sales objectives and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote products to designated customers to achieve territory plan objectives.
  • Implement value-added programs across the assigned territory.
  • Visit physicians to promote Pfizer products and provide approved information on medical usage, dosage, and side effects.
  • Distribute product samples and marketing literature to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Report visits and other activities accurately using the electronic customer management system (ECMS).

Customer Engagement and Territory Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with target customers to enhance territory knowledge, gain product endorsement, and generate sales.
  • Segment and target high-potential customers, focusing on Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and selected physicians.
  • Diagnose the territory situation, including local market drivers and initiatives, to design and implement an effective territory action plan.
  • Develop and execute the territory business plan and prepare a Plan of Action (POA) for products within the territory.
  • Plan and organize regular value-added programs and Audio-Visual (AV) activities.

Market Intelligence and Collaboration

  • Provide feedback to the sales management team on customer requests, responses to promotions, product access, and competitive activities.
  • Capture and provide feedback on market intelligence and relevant competitor activity or local issues.
  • Liaise with territory team members to share information, motivate, and support, contributing to the generation and delivery of the territory plan.
  • Attend regular sales meetings with the Sales Manager, general meetings, and cycle meetings.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and competitors.
  • Proven effective selling and presentation skills.

Administrative and Professional Development

  • Ensure territory and administrative systems/processes are maintained and updated for accurate record-keeping.
  • Produce reports as requested by the Sales Manager and ensure timely updates of records and systems.
  • Understand and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Proactively implement and update personal development plans, actively seek feedback, and develop an Individual Development Plan (IDP).
  • Undertake additional assignments as agreed with the line manager, ensuring objectives are met.
