Al Rashed Food Company is seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring a safe and healthy work environment through the development and implementation of robust health and safety programs.

Role Purpose

The HSE Officer will be responsible for planning and executing occupational health and safety policies and programs. This includes advising employees on safety-related topics and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant rules and regulations within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and programs.
• Advise and guide employees on various safety-related topics.
• Prepare and deliver educational seminars and webinars regularly.
• Review existing safety policies and procedures for effectiveness and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable safety rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to establish a comprehensive safety onboarding process for new employees.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Enforce preventative measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Identify process bottlenecks related to safety and propose timely solutions.
• Monitor employee compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on accidents and violations, determining their root causes.
• Oversee workplace repair, installations, and any other work that could impact employee safety.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE or a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of safety legislations, procedures, and hazardous materials.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with safety management information systems.
