About the Opportunity

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and comfort of our property by ensuring all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems function optimally.

Core Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant and monitor property temperature.
• Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage to identify areas for improvement.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other essential equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, ensuring confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Communicate professionally with others, fostering positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees.
• Capability to move in confined or elevated spaces.
• Navigate over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• Licenses or Certifications:
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Driver's License
  • HVAC Certification
