About the Role
Amazon is seeking an Inbound Supply Chain Manager to join its AMET Supply Chain team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on contributing to the future growth of Amazon in KSA by analyzing and resolving complex supply chain challenges, while also improving customer experience and inventory management within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan the weekly Inbound Forecast for the KSA Fulfillment Center (FC) network.
- Collaborate with Retail, Fulfilled by Amazon, and FC Operations teams on Inbound Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, and Placement.
- Develop a deep understanding and technical proficiency across all Supply Chain tools.
- Lead complex analysis, develop models and reports to inform strategic decisions, and support implementation of Operations topics regionally.
- Standardize methodologies and findings, and develop tools to manage the increasing complexity of KSA's Supply Chain.
- Lead regional projects and support implementation of Inbound Supply Chain initiatives to enhance performance and execution.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, acting as a data detective to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions for supply chain problems. This role requires excellent prioritization skills, clear communication, and a consistent track record of delivery. Candidates must be capable of creating and presenting documentation to senior executives and aligning their roadmap with Amazon’s strategic objectives. Both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience.
- 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.
- 3+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
- Experience defining program requirements and utilizing data and metrics to identify improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
- 3+ years of experience driving process improvements.
- Experience in stakeholder management, engaging with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Experience building processes, managing projects, and developing schedules.
Work Location
This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the AMET Supply Chain team.
