Introduction to the Role

Alsulaiman Group is seeking a dedicated Junior Internal Auditor to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to maintaining our commitment to robust internal controls and operational excellence within the group.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Junior Internal Auditor performs professional internal auditing work, encompassing performance, operational, financial, and compliance audit projects. This role contributes to the development of the annual internal audit plan and ensures all work adheres to organizational and professional ethical standards. All internal audit activities are completed in compliance with The IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). The position operates with a low latitude for initiative and independent judgment, focusing on structured execution of audit tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating the organization’s audit risk areas and provide input to the development of the risk-based annual internal audit plan.
• Support the performance of audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
• Aid in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management on a timely basis.
• Perform related work as assigned by audit management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Possession of a valid SOCPA Associate Membership Certificate.

Work Environment

This role is based in our offices in Jeddah, Makkah, and is a full-time commitment. The successful candidate will work within a structured framework, contributing to the audit function under direct supervision and adhering to established guidelines.
