As the OBU Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of On-Board Units (OBUs) installed in EMD freight locomotives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the availability and reliability of the OBU system.
Deliver preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Diagnose and address critical issues proactively.
Supervise installation work and coordinate activities of subcontractors or colleagues.
Provide technical advice to minimize delays during service incidents.
Support and mentor customer engineers in their maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:
We value passion and attitude more than extensive experience. The following qualifications will help you succeed:

Engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in relevant fields.
Understanding of communication ports, such as RS232, and office tools.
Knowledge of railway equipment and safety standards.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
