The company aims to transition high-potential exploration targets into operational mining assets by leveraging Hancock Prospecting’s expertise in exploration, project delivery, technology, and operational excellence, combined with local partnerships in Saudi Arabia.

Role Summary

The Manager, ITC is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the ITC strategy and digital roadmap across all operations in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role, based in Jeddah, Makkah, ensures that ITC services, systems, and infrastructure effectively support corporate, project, and field-based users while adhering to company standards and KSA regulatory and cybersecurity requirements. The position is critical for minimizing technology risk, ensuring operational readiness, and enabling secure and efficient project delivery, requiring over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the ITC strategy and digital roadmap to support business mobilization, operational readiness, and long-term organizational objectives.
• Promote an IT-as-a-Service culture, ensuring a customer-focused approach to technology service delivery.
• Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of business and operational systems, ensuring effective integration and governance across ITC and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Establish and manage secure, reliable, scalable, and robust ITC infrastructure.
• Develop and manage connectivity and integration with cloud services and platforms.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems for data protection and business continuity.
• Manage ITC projects, budgets, procurement, and technology vendors to ensure timely delivery and commercial value.
• Establish and maintain cybersecurity, data governance, business continuity, and ITC risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with KSA regulatory, cybersecurity, data protection (PDPL), and localization requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with KSA leadership and business functions to understand and deliver technology requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with ITC vendors, suppliers, and strategic technology partners.
• Anticipate technology requirements, identify capability gaps, and implement solutions to mitigate risks and support business growth.
• Assess emerging technologies and industry trends for digital transformation and operational improvement opportunities.

Work Environment and Travel

This role is primarily site-based, operating on a roster to support field activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It requires regular travel and, at times, extended periods at remote exploration and project sites. Regular presence at the company’s Jeddah office and other operational hubs is necessary for coordination and ITC activities. Flexibility to transition between field and office environments based on operational and business requirements is essential.
