About the Marketing Specialist Role

This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in marketing to contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.

Core Responsibilities

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for defining marketing objectives and developing comprehensive marketing policies for goods and services. This includes supervising the implementation and evaluation of these policies to ensure effectiveness. The role also involves conducting market tests and preparing detailed marketing-related documents and reports, which will be presented and archived according to established procedures.

Marketing Strategy and Analysis

Key duties include determining overall and sub-marketing objectives, and developing corresponding marketing policies, plans, programs, and facilities. The specialist will analyze product life cycles to identify factors contributing to marketing success or failure. Furthermore, the role involves analyzing competitor pricing to develop effective pricing policies and defining promotion programs, including the selection of appropriate distribution channels and evaluation of advertising and publicity effectiveness.

Implementation and Reporting

Developing a timeline for the implementation of marketing policies and following up on execution procedures are critical aspects of this role, alongside evaluating the results. The Marketing Specialist will conduct tests for new products before their market release, utilizing specialized computer programs for market testing as required by business needs. The preparation of specialized marketing documents and reports, including providing recommendations and solutions, presenting them clearly, and saving them in the dedicated database, are also key responsibilities.

Required Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Proven ability to define marketing objectives and develop policies.
  • Experience in market analysis, product life cycle assessment, and competitor pricing analysis.
  • Proficiency in developing and evaluating promotion programs and distribution strategies.
  • Skilled in market testing and the preparation of marketing reports.
