The Project Manager Role

Saleh Al-Rajhi & Partners Co. Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering projects in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional who can assume full responsibility for project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring all objectives are met within defined parameters.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects. This includes achieving project objectives within the defined scope, schedule, and approved budget, while consistently maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of engineering projects from initiation through execution to closure.
  • Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with technical specifications and approved engineering standards.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to established timelines.
  • Manage project budgets effectively and control costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance and occupational health & safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and integrate work across all engineering disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, etc.).
  • Plan, organize, and manage project meetings efficiently.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and challenges and take corrective actions when necessary.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in project management, preferably within the engineering sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from initiation to closure.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficiency in budget management, schedule adherence, and quality control.

Performance Measurement

Success in this role will be measured against key performance indicators, including:

  • Adherence to project schedule.
  • Compliance with approved budget.
  • Quality of project deliverables.
  • Compliance with safety standards.
  • Stakeholder and client satisfaction.
