Job Description

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Quality Specialist to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role focuses on ensuring alignment with international accreditation standards, developing policies, and monitoring compliance across the organization. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, update, and align EMS policies and procedures with requirements of international accreditation bodies (JCIA, ACHS, ABBA’s).
  • Conduct regular gap analyses against accreditation standards and develop action plans for compliance.
  • Coordinate readiness activities for accreditation surveys, including documentation, staff preparation, and evidence collection.
  • Draft, revise, and implement policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines in collaboration with EMS leadership.
  • Perform qualitative reviews of documentation in EMR, ensuring proper practices across Fakeeh Health Care facilities in compliance with clinical documentation policy.
  • Perform regular quality audits on EMS operations, clinical documentation, and patient safety practices.
  • Generate and analyze monthly audit reports, identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate findings to the Quality Risk Management (QRM), Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and other OUL, suggesting actionable improvements.
  • Monitor incident reports, near-misses, and adverse events, ensuring timely follow-up and reporting in the OVR system.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend system improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Collect, analyze, and present quality data, trends, and dashboards for management decision-making.
  • Contribute to educational initiatives on audit processes, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, including workshops on documentation accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or similar role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of international accreditation standards such as JCIA, ACHS, and ABBA’s.
  • Proficiency in policy and procedure development, implementation, and control.
  • Experience with quality audits, KPI tracking, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports for various stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, supporting operations across Fakeeh Care Group facilities in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves active participation in selected committees and continuous monitoring of patient data privacy and security.
