About the Role

Amazon is seeking a Team Lead, UFG UTR Operations to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, falling under the RDC Operations Executive Amazon Now AMET Operations framework, is based in the Jeddah and Makkah regions. The role is critical for ensuring efficient daily operations and maintaining high standards across designated sites within the UFG UTR network.

Role Summary

The Team Lead is responsible for the comprehensive management of UTR operations, overseeing either a single large site or a combination of smaller sites. This includes direct supervision of store operations, ensuring all customer-facing metrics and internal operational targets are consistently met. The role requires a proactive approach to operational management, team leadership, and continuous process improvement.

Core Operational Management

• Manage daily end-to-end UTR operations for either one large site or a combination of small sites.
• Supervise store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Meet all customer-facing metrics while maintaining established operational and quality targets.
• Uphold the safety standards and morale of the team members reporting to this position.

Team Leadership and Development

• Drive performance management initiatives for all team members.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive training and development plans specifically for pickers.

Process Improvement and Compliance

• Work closely with merchant stakeholders to continuously improve operational processes.
• Aim to attain and sustain improved levels of operational performance.
• Conduct daily 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits for the stores under management.
• Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager when required, ensuring continuity of leadership and operations.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position located in the Jeddah and Makkah regions of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be an integral part of Amazon's operations, contributing directly to the efficiency and success of the UFG UTR network.
