About the Role

Ninja (quick-commerce) is seeking an experienced Inbound Supervisor for Receiving Operations in Jeddah, Makkah Province. This full-time role involves leading and overseeing the receiving operations within a fast-growing grocery distribution center. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Inbound Supervisor will lead a team of Team Leaders and Receiving Officers, managing the entire flow of goods from supplier arrival through receiving and putaway handover. A primary focus of this position is to ensure that all receipts are processed accurately, safely, and within established timelines, contributing to the efficiency of the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan the daily inbound schedule and allocate manpower based on truck arrivals and inbound volume.
• Supervise unloading, counting, Purchase Order (PO) receiving in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and putaway handover processes.
• Ensure all open receipts are closed on the same day, preventing end-of-shift backlogs.
• Enforce cold chain, First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO), expiry, and quality control requirements across ambient, chilled, frozen, and fresh products.
• Lead, train, and develop the receiving team while monitoring individual productivity and performance.
• Coordinate with Planning, Commercial, and Suppliers to ensure smooth inbound operations.
• Monitor inbound volumes, productivity, and open receipts.
• Identify recurring operational issues and support process and system improvements.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and standards.

Experience and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in receiving operations or a similar supervisory role within a distribution or logistics environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and oversee complex operational workflows.
• Familiarity with WMS and inventory management principles.
• Understanding of cold chain, FEFO, and quality control standards for various product types.

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, within the Makkah Province, and involves working in a dynamic grocery distribution center environment.
