Core Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant/Manager, Cyber Operate, SOC L2, your responsibilities will include:

• Compiling detailed investigation and analysis reports for internal CSOC consumption and management delivery.
• Analyzing network traffic, IDS/IPS/DLP events, packet capture, and FW logs.
• Analyzing malicious campaigns and evaluating the effectiveness of security technologies.
• Developing advanced queries and alerts to detect adversary actions.
• Leading response and investigation efforts into advanced and targeted attacks.
• Identifying gaps in IT infrastructure by mimicking an attacker’s behaviors and responses.
• Providing expert analytic investigative support for large-scale and complex security incidents.
• Performing Root Cause Analysis of security incidents for further enhancement of the alert catalogue.
• Continuously improving processes for use across multiple detection sets for more efficient Security Operations.
• Reviewing alerts generated by detection infrastructure for false positives and modifying alerts as needed.
