The Role: Senior Costing Analyst

BRF is seeking a Senior Costing Analyst to join its team in the Makkah region, with locations in Jeddah or Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and is central to optimizing production costs and supporting strategic financial decisions within the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct actual reporting and analysis of production costs, explaining key deviations compared with budget and month-over-month trends to influence decision-making and optimize production costs. This ensures the achievement of factory operational KPIs such as Yield, productivity, efficiency, idleness, and composition.
• Manage routine cost planning activities, including:
  • Defining cost allocation criteria for factories.
  • Analyzing changes in recipes, raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), and production methods to determine cost impact.
  • Performing simulations for new SKUs and proposed production plans.
  • Determining costs of business activities to assist management decisions on rework, material write-off, production stoppage, R&D trials, production losses, quality losses, changes in materials, and make-or-buy scenarios.
• Monitor category profitability to ensure maximization of profits by highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to project future financial performance, evaluate new businesses, and assess investment opportunities, including ad-hoc scenario analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Prepare statutory and managerial financial projections and conduct analysis of transfer prices.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to deliver financial analysis and recommendations through active business partnering.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines and ensure adherence to the BRF Sustainability Plan through routine activities that promote compliance with indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments, connecting actions to sustainable development within the BRF chain.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for the Senior Costing Analyst position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in costing, financial analysis, or a similar field. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in financial modeling, and an understanding of financial regulations and reporting. Experience with cost allocation, profitability analysis, and business partnering is essential.
