Senior Machinist

About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Senior Machinist to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves executing assembly tasks and machining processes according to instructions, coordinating with team members, and ensuring adherence to section discipline and good housekeeping practices. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks as instructed by the foreman or supervisor.
• Comply with all work instructions provided by the foreman or supervisor.
• Follow instructions, drawings, or sketches accurately for all machining processes.
• Coordinate effectively with other section members to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain discipline within the assigned section.
• Prepare necessary parts and verify that machined components meet specified quality requirements.
• Ensure the availability of spare parts of all required sizes.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area.
• Adhere strictly to all company rules and regulations.

Health, Safety, and Environment Compliance

• Understand and comply with organizational HS&E policies.
• Follow all safety instructions relevant to assigned tasks.
• Report any damaged Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), unsafe machines, or equipment to the appropriate staff.
• Ensure provided PPEs are kept in good, workable condition.
• Refrain from any horseplay and avoid misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
• Report all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible party.
• Attend all scheduled safety training sessions.
• Exercise the right to decline any unsafe work.

Experience and Work Type

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field. This is a full-time position based in Jeddah.
