About Salla and the Role

Salla is an e-commerce platform in Saudi Arabia, supporting over 60,000 merchants in online sales. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join our full-time team in Jeddah, Makkah Province. This role is designed for a proactive sales professional with 2-5 years of experience who can identify opportunities and drive the sales cycle from initial contact to merchant activation.

Role Context

The Senior Sales Executive will manage the complete sales process, engaging with a diverse client base ranging from small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to large enterprise brands. The role involves selling a comprehensive product suite that includes storefront solutions, payment gateways, logistics, marketing tools, AI capabilities, and other related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and close new merchant accounts across SMB and enterprise segments within assigned verticals, primarily through self-sourced pipelines.
• Build and maintain a clear sales pipeline, accurately distinguishing between viable opportunities and other prospects.
• Conduct thorough discovery to identify and diagnose a merchant's specific business needs.
• Deliver tailored presentations demonstrating how Salla's solutions, including storefront, payments, logistics, marketing, integrations, and AI, address merchant requirements.
• Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with longer sales cycles, engaging various departments from founders to finance and IT, and securing agreements.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain disciplined CRM records to ensure reliable data.
• Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth handover and rapid merchant activation.
• Offer structured market feedback to the team, including insights on vertical trends, pricing signals, and recurring objections, to inform sales strategy.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within e-commerce or a related technology sector.
• Demonstrated ability to identify sales opportunities and initiate contact with potential clients.
• Proven track record of managing the full sales cycle and closing deals.
• Strong commitment to achieving sales targets and driving merchant activation.
