Spa Reception Supervisor (Saudi only)

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Spa Reception Supervisor to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The supervisor will play a key role in managing recreational activities and ensuring guest satisfaction within the spa environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and advertise recreational activity agendas using publishing software.
• Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment, informing management of low stock.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a relaxing atmosphere and provide information on available facilities and activities.
• Enforce recreation facility rules and regulations for guest safety and welfare.
• Observe activity, respond to emergencies according to procedure, and assist injured guests until medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Anticipate and address guest service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally, answer telephones appropriately, and foster positive working relationships.
• Process orders or transactions and collect payments as required.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Physical Demands

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for grasping, turning, and manipulating objects.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over uneven or slippery surfaces, including stairs and ramps.
• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Must be a Saudi national.
