About the Role

Zegna is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee comprehensive store operations in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing merchandising, sales, customer service, and staff development, alongside daily administrative functions. The primary objective is to ensure the effective functioning of the store, achieve business goals, and enhance the company’s image within the market. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in retail management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, reviewing previous days’ sales figures and implementing proactive initiatives to meet targets.
• Monitor sales KPIs to ensure budget achievement and drive overall store performance.
• Ensure high standards of customer service, including courteous greetings, addressing customer needs for information, repairs, or alterations, and resolving issues as required.
• Maintain an accurate customer database through the Amber Loyalty program.
• Identify and communicate insights on slow and fast-moving items to buyers on a monthly basis.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures across all store operations.

Store Operations and Merchandising

• Organize the store layout to create an optimal ambience and merchandise goods prominently according to company and brand specifications.
• Utilize window and visual displays to enhance store appeal and product visibility.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all levels of store operations.
• Replenish stock daily and verify inventory at the beginning and end of each shift, replenishing according to season and size.
• Conduct a total stock count at least twice a year and monitor compliance with stock transfer procedures to ensure optimal stock availability of the latest items.
• Identify and resolve IT system errors as required to maintain operational efficiency.

Leadership and Team Development

• Guide, coach, and train sales associates on customer service disciplines, product knowledge, and market/competition intelligence through ongoing in-store training.
• Supervise staff regarding personal grooming, conduct during business hours, level of product knowledge, and customer service standards.
• Continuously guide, coach, and motivate staff to develop their potential and improve performance.
• Develop and mentor employees, identify specific training needs, and monitor individual progress within the team.
• Conduct daily store huddles to ensure teams are up to date with relevant business information.
