About the Tamheer Medical Quality Internship

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Tamheer Medical Quality intern to join its team in Jeddah. This internship offers a structured opportunity to contribute to the implementation of medical quality initiatives and continuous improvement within a professional healthcare setting.

Role Purpose and Context

The intern will support the medical quality team by assisting in various functions critical to quality assurance and enhancement. This includes contributing to continuous education, training programs, monitoring activities, and audits. The role operates within the framework of national and international healthcare standards, focusing on the accreditation Quality Management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support in revising Policies, Procedures, Plans, Programs, Clinical Care Pathways, Guidelines, Protocols, and Forms, ensuring alignment with the latest scientific references.
• Assist in educating staff, implementing new standards, and monitoring compliance with established guidelines.
• Support all processes related to accreditation preparation, maintenance, and outcome management.
• Collaborate with the team to initiate new Performance Improvement Projects across various departments.
• Participate in audits focused on Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, Risk Management, Clinical Governance, Patient Experience, and Personnel Files.
• Contribute to the development, education, implementation, benchmarking, and monitoring of Quality Indicators as per required frequencies.
• Assist in taking appropriate actions based on reports from compliance surveys and observations from regulatory authorities.
