About the Tamheer - Patient Support Internship

Bupa Arabia is offering an internship opportunity for the Tamheer - Patient Support role, based in Jeddah. This program is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing a foundational experience in patient support within the healthcare sector.

Role Overview

The Tamheer - Patient Support intern will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries and providing a high standard of service to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to Health Care Center performance. The role requires acting as a competent, courteous, and efficient point of contact for both internal and external customers, maintaining a high level of quality in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all inbound cases received through various channels, delivering world-class service.
  • Provide accurate information on Bupa Connect Care products and services, including networks, treatments, and paperwork.
  • Resolve and record provider/client requests in the CRM system according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain proper and accurate records, files, and databases.
  • Identify and report recurring problems to facilitate prompt corrective actions.
  • Utilize and interpret multiple systems for preauthorization, claims research, contract interpretation, and provider network status.
  • Understand and interpret client and provider contracts while interacting with callers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers, striving for continuous service improvement.
  • Manage and resolve inbound complaints end-to-end in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Initiate proper escalations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective recovery for complaints and maintain a high level of satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Health Services, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-1 years.
  • Ability to use computers and navigate through software applications.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment and work well under stress.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent follow-up skills.
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in Customer Service, Sales, or a Call Centre is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the Medical & Insurance field is a significant advantage.

Work Environment

This is an internship position located in Jeddah. The role operates within a dynamic environment that requires adaptability and effective stress management.
