Role Overview

SJ Group is seeking an experienced Technical Manager, Infrastructure Delivery Engineering & Quality, to support major infrastructure and urban development projects. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with work in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on infrastructure delivery, technical design review, project quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical delivery and supervision of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, tunnels, drainage channels, and urban development programs.
• Review and evaluate engineering studies, design submissions, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable design standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project quality through inspections, testing, audits, and quality assurance processes.
• Identify and manage non-conformances, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Review project processes and implement improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
• Support change management initiatives and continuous improvement across infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with project teams and technical stakeholders to address engineering and quality-related issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure construction supervision, engineering design oversight, project quality management, or related technical functions.
• Demonstrated experience in major infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, drainage, or urban development programs.
• Experience reviewing engineering studies and designs against applicable standards and technical requirements.
• Experience in project quality management, including inspections, testing, audits, and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of quality management tools, non-conformance management, and corrective action implementation.
• Experience improving project processes and supporting change management initiatives.
