About the Role

Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking a Warehouse Operative - SC to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment and maintaining warehouse operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of goods. This includes:

• Picking customer orders from Ambient, Frozen, and Chilled Chambers ready for shipment.
• Transporting picked orders to loading locations or delivery platforms using material handling equipment or forklifts, ensuring accuracy in quantities and dates.
• Performing van stock rotation during loading operations and conducting van stock counts as required.
• Repackaging orders or deliveries when necessary and reporting any quality or quantity variances.
• Ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage to minimize market returns.
• Operating forklifts for order picking and performing daily inspections and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Ensuring forklifts are in good working condition, clean, and reporting any defects promptly to the Supervisor.
• Scanning or manually entering stock into the system for all inbound and outbound goods.
• Issuing gate passes and return receipts for Store Keeper checks.
• Conducting physical inventory counts in all temperature chambers as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area according to company standards.
• Assisting in maintaining warehouse security and conducting operations in a safe manner.
• Providing general assistance and performing additional tasks as requested by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of a completed High School degree is required.
• A mandatory driving license for a Forklift Truck is essential. Training will be provided if a suitable applicant does not currently hold a license.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is necessary.
• The ability to work under pressure and handle deadlines is important.
• Candidates must be physically fit.
• A neat and tidy appearance is expected (*, no sandals).
• Fluency in Arabic is a must; English proficiency is preferable.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The role involves working within various temperature-controlled warehouse environments, including Ambient, Frozen, and Chilled Chambers.
