About the Role

United Group is seeking a Key Account Sales Specialist to join their team in Khamis Mushait, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on managing and expanding poultry feed sales within an assigned geographic area. The specialist will be responsible for cultivating strong customer relationships and ensuring operational alignment to meet customer needs.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this position is to supervise and grow poultry feed sales by maintaining strong relationships with key customers, ensuring consistent order fulfillment, and providing essential field-level technical and commercial support. The role involves monitoring flock performance and supporting customer retention through consistent service and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise poultry feed sales and achieve monthly and annual sales targets within the designated area.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships, assess satisfaction, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities, including pricing, promotions, and service levels, reporting insights to the Sales Manager.
  • Serve as the primary daily contact for assigned large poultry customers (broilers, layers, breeders, distributors).
  • Maintain strong follow-up on orders, deliveries, and customer credit limits.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and coordinate solutions with relevant internal departments.
  • Receive and verify daily customer orders, coordinating with Planning and Logistics teams.
  • Monitor delivery schedules, truck availability, and dispatch timing, proactively notifying customers of any delays.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and contracts, is shared with customers.

Technical Support and Farm Engagement

  • Visit farms to gather performance data such as weight gain, FCR, mortality, and feed intake.
  • Provide basic guidance on feed handling, storage, and management practices at the farm level.
  • Follow up on feed quality, moisture, and feed-related complaints, reporting complex issues to the Nutrition or Technical team for specialized support.

Internal Coordination and Reporting

  • Register customer complaints and coordinate with Quality, Nutrition, Operations, and Sales departments to support root-cause investigations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in improvement actions related to service, quality, or logistics.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments with customers in coordination with the Finance department, ensuring adherence to credit limits and company payment terms.
  • Submit weekly visit plans and territory reports, updating CRM systems with customer interactions and activities.
  • Track sales performance, forecast volumes, and monitor customer buying behavior.

Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or a related field, preferably within the poultry or animal feed industry.
