About the Role
The Safety Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and enforcing occupational health and safety standards. The position involves identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses.

Key Accountabilities
  • Implement and monitor health and safety policies across the workplace.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international safety standards.
  • Provide safety training and induction programs for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures.
  • Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain firefighting equipment.
  • Report safety performance issues to management and suggest improvements.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety; classified ممارس from Kawader.
  • Preferred safety certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH).
  • 1-3 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in the food industry.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and Civil Defense requirements.
  • Proficient in risk assessment and report preparation.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
