Join Hill International as a Senior Budgeting Specialist! In this pivotal role, you will support project management while overseeing budgeting and financial control across various projects. This includes crucial activities such as cost tracking, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Project Management tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Manager, Engineering & Projects Division.
  • Implement budgeting and financial record-keeping procedures to ensure efficient coordination of departmental accounts.
  • Follow the cost coding system implemented in the program.
  • Develop cost centers for each project and develop coding for all permanent equipment.
  • Analyze existing budgets and prepare forecasts.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses and manage cash flow effectively.
  • Provide financial advice and prepare comprehensive budget reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting or Engineering from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in related fields, particularly on major national/international initiatives.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in project budgeting.
  • Ability to present plans to senior management and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English with excellent communication skills.

  • Collaborate with warehouse, production, and maintenance teams for accurate cost inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, costing policies, and audit recommendations.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Industrial Management.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the same field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and costing tools skills.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX).
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English.
