About the Role

Prize by Radisson is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join its full-time team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves a strong commitment to excellence, a detail-driven approach, and a focus on maintaining an impeccable guest experience within a dynamic Housekeeping Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the oversight of Housekeeping operations.
  • Operating within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well-managed schedules.
  • Supporting departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitoring the appearance, standards, and performance of the Housekeeping Team, with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
  • Ensuring team members possess up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities.
  • Assisting the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining good communication and work relationships across all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers.
  • Ensuring staffing levels adequately cover business demands.
  • Providing ongoing training to support the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Ensuring communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes are generated.
  • Managing staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assisting other departments wherever necessary.
  • Supporting the management, training, and development of the team.
  • Ensuring effective communication, including coaching and performance management.
  • Following departmental policies and procedures.
  • Reporting necessary maintenance items.
  • Adhering to all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Practicing the ‘Yes I Can’ attitude.
  • Adhering to Rezidor’s Responsible Business ethics.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in housekeeping management. The role requires demonstrated abilities in operational oversight, budget management, team leadership, and staff development within a hospitality environment.
