Ballet Coach

About the Role

SportPlex Saudi Arabia is seeking a Ballet Coach to provide high-quality ballet training to children and young participants. This full-time position is based in Makkah, specifically serving Jeddah and Makkah, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The coach will be responsible for planning and conducting engaging ballet classes, focusing on the development of technical skills, flexibility, coordination, musicality, and confidence within a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured ballet classes appropriate for students' age and skill levels.
• Teach ballet fundamentals, including posture, positions, barre work, center exercises, turns, jumps, and choreography.
• Develop students’ technique, flexibility, balance, coordination, rhythm, and musicality.
• Create an enjoyable, positive, and encouraging learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse abilities and learning levels.
• Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe and professional training environment at all times.
• Ensure proper warm-up and cool-down routines to minimize injury risk.
• Prepare students for performances, showcases, competitions, or special events as required.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and class requirements.
• Maintain attendance records and report any concerns or incidents to management.
• Collaborate with other coaches and the SportPlex team to support overall program development.
• Participate in SportPlex events, promotional activities, and community programs when required.
• Ensure all equipment and studio areas are properly maintained and used safely.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Ballet Teacher, Ballet Coach, or Dance Instructor.
• Formal ballet/dance training or relevant professional certification.
• Strong knowledge of classical ballet techniques and terminology.
• Experience working with children and/or teenagers is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, energetic, creative, and enthusiastic teaching approach.
• Ability to work with students of different ages and skill levels.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.

Work Environment

The Ballet Coach will work within the SportPlex team, contributing to program development and participating in various company events and community initiatives. This role requires a commitment to maintaining a professional and safe training environment for all participants.
