Job Description
About the Role
Le Meridien is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join its team in a full-time capacity. This role provides essential administrative and support functions within the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies and guidelines.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all employee and property records, files, and sensitive information.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9s.
- Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Inform Human Resources management of any issues related to employee relations within the division or property.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional personal appearance.
Administrative Duties
- Create and maintain organized filing systems for the Human Resources department.
- Prepare and type office correspondence accurately using computer systems.
- Distribute and route incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
- Order and track Human Resources office supplies and forms to ensure adequate stock.
- Answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette and record messages accurately.
- Create new employee personnel files as required.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
Candidate and Employee Support
- Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures.
- Maintain the designated space for completing applications, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and accessible to individuals with disabilities.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals.
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
- License or Certification: None.
Work Environment and Company Commitment
The role requires the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. The Human Resources Coordinator will also perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
